MULTI-CAMERA TIMELAPSES

Spent the day setting up 6 cameras for the longest timelapse we have ever attempted at Brick House Productions. We are aiming for a 4 month timelapse shot. Some of the cameras run on batteries and our main camera is running off solar power.

FANSHAWE COLLEGE CELEBRATES CANADIAN MUSIC

Thrilled to be a part of the production on, “Share the Land”, a tribute to Canadian music. My Audio Post Production class was tasked with shooting and recording the event. They did a fantastic job and it looks like the final video is going to be amazing!

SURROUND SOUND ORCHESTRA RECORDING

A day of orchestra recording with the Concert Players Orchestra & Fanshawe Chorus London, directed by David Holler. Audio setup was a surround sound configured Decca Tree and a few spot mics to capture soloists.

ENSEMBLE VIVANT ALBUM RELEASE

Spent a night packed in this cool venue to shoot/record the album release for Ensemble Vivantʼs tribute to legendary arranger, Rick Wilkins. It was a treat to direct this multicamera shoot and record some of the top musicians in Toronto.

Being part of the documentary crew was all the excuse I needed to chat with some of the visiting Toronto royalty including, CityTV founder, Moses Znimer!

FEATURE DOCUMENTARY – JESSEʼS JOURNEY

Itʼs the inspiring story of how a father walked across Canada when his son was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Being an editor truly is a wonderful experience. Itʼs a unique privilege to go through raw footage, to see and hear the personal stories uncut, and challenge yourself to take all those bits and pieces and try to create something.

Iʼve watched this documentary probably a hundred times, so when it screened to a full house at a fundraiser this week, for me, the reward wasnʼt watching the final video, it was watching the faces of the audience.

Thanks to all the participants that were so generous in sharing their time and personal experiences to help bring awareness to Duchenne muscular dystrophy, thanks to Alex Schmoll and the crew at Brick House. Iʼm proud to have been a part of this.
